One Year Bible reading plan

In this challenge that I walk with my church, on our second month now, I can say I am a part of this family.

Been hungry for a family God has called us to be. Everyone has their own roles, uniqueness just like parts of the body, Jesus Christ being our head.

I feel encouraged to actually walk with people in this bible reading plan. I’ve always wanted to read the entire bible by myself but I tend to jump around the bible as life challenges arrises, wherever my hunger for His encouragement leads me. But this study with the church helps me focus for a purpose, for His purpose, to encourage one another & to feel that I am a part of a bigger group, a part of something out from myself, as I quietly encounter my creator in my alone time of reading about Him. Fascinating, the more I chew on every detail of the stories, the more I get to know Him & the more I see who He created me to be, His chosen one, to be obedient & to be faithful. I never thought how hard my heart has been until He shows Himself in between the pages, the words of the bible. He wants to me continue to Love for He is Love & ultimately Love Him Alone. Seems radical? But being hurt so many time by the world through abandonment, betrayal & use, I never thought I’ve been carrying a heart of stone. But only through Him, as He renews our minds then our hearts then we actually learn how to Love properly, the Love that was seen through Jesus Christ His Son & only possible with the help & power of the Holy Spirit. He calls us to be Leaders for we are His treasured possessions, where His wisdom, value & Love will flow, for the hurting world to see & witness. We are members of the Kingdom of God, this upside down kingdom wherein God (Jesus Christ) is the king, to do what the king did when He walked with mankind & does. To be holy for He is Holy. Pursuing Him as He pursued us first.
