Love Anyways

Creating a life with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ultimately this life is his anyways so what does it mean creating a life with him. For God is love and want what’s best for His children, we don’t actually know what’s best for us. It is actually Him who knows what’s best. Even if it seems good for us in our perspective; seems good, feels good, and looks good for us is not actually good for the heart is deceitful in many ways. A life without Jesus is the sure fire road to emptiness. So what is the actual secret to a life fulfilled with happiness? It’s actually seeking God’s words through the scripture which teaches obedience and obedience to God leads us to the greatest happiness and joy, with or without material stuff, family friends and life, having Jesus is the ultimate goal.

Out of that relationship actually flourishes our enjoyment of life amidst the challenges. That’s why Paul & Silas were able to worship amidst imprisonment. In our time despite the pandemic, how do we find joy and meaning to still push forward? If we are going to look at how Paul survived persecution, as in our time racism and violence, Jesus’ face seeks to shine through us. Either we are the ones strung out with the sickness or caring for the sick. Either we are amongst the minority being discriminated or apparently amongst the privileged because of our social status, we all have a role to play. What is one common ground we could possibly have? It’s Jesus, who seeks to unite us all. Both Jews and Gentiles, both imprisoned and free. From whatever culture, nationality, social status, he is the only one who can unite us all. You may ask how? That’s where the bible comes in, that’s where God’s people are actually called to share his word. In a time when nobody can answer the big questions of life, we have long had the answers at the palm of our hands. All along even before we actually started seeking, answers were already provided. This is a call for everyone to walk with each other, to love one another, a call for Jesus followers to show how to love so that the world may see and be in awe. As that hunger grows in all of us, whether Christians or non-Christians, may we overflow with love for those who desperately need it, for we all know that all we need is love anyways.
