Oh God, why do they persecute me?
For I am made in your goodness & likeness,
My faithful God teach me to have faith in you,
Reassure me of your love, your word says it all,
However these men views me, may I not be discouraged by them
If he is a man-of-God, then I will not hesitate, then let that be your message for me today, for I am now your daughter, the daughter of God most high.
Why should I waver, your unconditional love is my shelter.
You have assured me of your love & my future is now on your hands.
I rest on your feet all my worries, they have been robbing me.
Let me be your child, you alone discipline me, because you alone are my God & you alone know me, made in your image & likeness.
By your grace I was saved, so no one else can boast.
I claim your grace to surround me for I am your child & you are my father.
